A Merrythought Teddy Bear created in honor of Sketch's French MasterChef, Pierre Gagnaire.
Each bear is individually numbered as part of a limited edition of 250 and has a certificate of authenticity.
Presented in a luxury gift box.
Pierre Gagnaire has been at the helm of the kitchens at sketch since its inauguration in 2002. It was Pierre’s first project beyond Paris where he continues to run his eponymous three-Michelin-star restaurant “Pierre Gagnaire”. In 2019 the Lecture Room & Library at sketch was awarded three Michelin stars, the highest accolade in the culinary world and it retains this status today.
The bear is adorned in the same chef’s outfit that Pierre wore in the acclaimed movie The Taste of Things, (original title La Passion de Dodin Bouffant ), directed by Tran Anh Hùng. He provided the gastronomic direction and starred alongside Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel.
Merrythought is the last remaining British teddy bear manufacturer and to this day the bears continue to be handmade in the company’s original factory in Shropshire. Merrythought bears are handcrafted from the finest natural materials.
